Two Little Stars Rug

I'm just a hookin' fool lately!  The weather has been sooo cold and we're expecting more snow by tomorrow here, so I've just been housebound for the most part and trying to keep myself occupied...

I just finished this little rug, the pattern is from Pat Cross's book, Purely Primitive, (I thought it was from a friend, but I just realized I had stuck the pattern in the book she sent).
I'll be listing it on Etsy today; it's ready to go to a new home :)

hmmm...what's next?  Perhaps something for Valentine's Day!

Good AM Sandi! I went to Goodwill this week....I purchased TWO full length wool coats for ONE DOLLAR EACH....A couple of jackets for ONE DOLLAR and a few misc. wools. Brought them home, washed, dried, stripped....I now have a beautiful pile of wonderful wool in colors of pumpkin, red, browns, blacks, grey. My search for wool continues!

wow, sounds like you're on your way to hooking!
did you strip the wool by hand or did you buy a stripper?

I plan on buying a fraser, we'll see what happens, otherwise I can rent one. Do you have a cutter?

Sandi said...

no, i don't have a cutter, i have my wool cut for me when i buy it...

I had some old cheap gold from 20 years ago....I figured it was worth $25....imagine my surprise when he said $140!!! I have another chain to take in, so I'm getting close to my goal. I'm hoping to buy used though to save $$$. What are you working on for Valentine's Day???
