Hit & Miss Rug...

I started this rug before Christmas and just finished it the other day...first one like this I've ever hooked...it looks real pretty under my wood trencher on the living room table...
What is everyone doing for New Year's Eve?  We are staying home like we usually do; we'll have some friends over and play cards and welcome in the new year...
Wish all of you a very happy and prosperous new year 2011...

I love your hit and miss mat! One of my favorite to hook also! They look great in so many places in the home! Love the shape of yours.
May your year ahead be filled with more rug hooking and all your hearts desires!

Sandi, it's beautiful. It's inspired me to do this shape. Great for a hit or miss and use up the noodles!
We will be going over some friends house for a few hours but will be back before the night ends. we aren't late night people!
Have a wonderful time with your friends welcoming in the New Year!

Love your rug! That's one of my favorite designs, hit & miss. We are doing the same on NYE, playing cards with the parentals and then banging pots on the front porch at midnight. I will be happy to see 2010 gone for good.

I love it! And what a great project to use up some of those pesky worms that always seem to accumulate!

Love your mat. It will be a quiet new years eve. I will probably hook and go to bed early.

Time is so hectic for us before Christmas that we always spend a quite New Year's Eve at home now with a few nibbles and a bottle of wine. I love your hit and miss rug. Very practical because it hides the dirt nicely and gets rid of wool worms in a useful way.

Happy New Year and all the Best for 2011. JB

Love the rug, but not as much as my Christmas tree rug :)
I have the perfect New Year's Eve planned with my DSO. Dinner at his place, a movie to watch, and maybe some hooking or stitching. I doubt I'll be awake at midnight.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Pug hugs :)
