Happy Mothers Day...

Seriously, snow???

wow, it's unbelievable...snow in May...we just filled some flower boxes on the back porch the other day and I hope they survive until this is over...
this poor little finch took shelter under the porch from the rain/sleet...his feathers are all ruffled for warmth...
my camera seems to be acting up lately...i think it's time for a new one...

Hello Again...

Wellll...so here it is February, and I just finished a little fall rug...you can say that I'm way behind on my seasons here...or, just maybe...i'm working backwards, LOL!
Not too much new here except the wacky weather...warm, then cold, then warm again...expecting some rain this w/e and hope we get a lot...we really need it...
Also, I'm going to be a grandma to a little boy, due in June, and great-grandma to a little girl, also due in June...
I just got a pattern for a primitive tulip and I'm really going to make an effort to start it soon...not sure why, but lately I can't seem to get much of anything done...but spring is just around the corner and I'm really looking forward to that...

What's New?

Well, not much really...we are still suffering through our drought here, although the temperatures have gone down quite a bit...even some low 60's at night, and that feels sooo good...hoping to get some good rainfall really soon here...
My beautiful step-daughter Vanessa got married on Friday and here are a few of the gorgeous photos of her and her new husband, Ehren...
I think she is the most beautiful bride I've ever seen...

I haven't done much in the way of hooking lately, but I plan on getting back to it very soon...Autumn is calling to me and I must answer :)
