I was backing out of the driveway this morning, when my husband showed me this nest, right in the crook of this little redbud in our front yard...I didn't want to get any closer to take a photo, and take a chance on frightening her...I sure hope that she stays safe, so low in this tree...we do have a few cats around and I hope they don't get her or her babies...

We had two birds nest around our house last spring. I've been looking for signs. That is a rather low nest. It's funny where they decide to build. Hope she stays safe too!

I sure hope that the cats are well fed. The nest looks very dangerously low. I sure hope that they will be safe but I would worry for their safety. JB
I've never seen a bird build a nest so low and exposed. Hope they are all right.
