Little Antique Flower Rug Mat

I just finished this yesterday; I love the background, it came from Marita's shop, The Merry Hooker Woolens...I hooked this mat in 8.5 cut wool strips...

The pattern is from Lori at Not Forgotten Farm, and it was in one of my Wool Street Journals, I did take some liberty with it and I hope she doesn't mind...her rugs, needle punch and all of her patterns are so wonderful...

Hi Sandie....
Your mat is delightful! I really like how the Gramp's Leather Chair hooked into your background.... I'm looking for new fabrics for that great color.
I'm going to try that 8.5 cut for the background of my next big rug.
Keep hooking :-)

I just love your hooked rugs!!!! I've been working on one for years. I could never part with it when it finally does get completed! Guess I should have started with a small piece.
